Meet Erin
Hi, I’m Erin (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Registered Therapist with over 30 years of experience working with women, children, and families in the Portland metro area.
You may feel overwhelmed, burned out, or caught in patterns you understand but haven’t been able to change. Perhaps you’re navigating perimenopause or menopause, recovering from a difficult relationship, or noticing how childhood experiences still affect your confidence and choices.
If you’re highly sensitive, you may find yourself caring for everyone else while overlooking your own needs. Therapy can be a place to make room for yourself.
How We Can Work Together
Imagine saying no without spending the evening second-guessing yourself, moving through stress with more steadiness, and making choices that reflect your needs. These are the kinds of changes we can work toward together.
Alongside conversation, I offer creative and body-based approaches:
• EFT tapping gives us an active way to explore overwhelming feelings and self-critical thoughts through gentle tapping and focused attention. • Flash Technique focuses on distress connected to painful memories without requiring you to recount every detail. • Art therapy can help you express what’s difficult to say, recognize your needs, and explore who you want to become no artistic experience needed.
I also draw from parts work, mindfulness, and polyvagal-informed approaches to help you understand your reactions and practice responding to yourself with greater compassion.
My style is warm, interactive, and collaborative. We’ll choose approaches that fit your comfort and goals, focusing on clearer boundaries, greater self-understanding, and more confidence in your daily life.
Areas of Focus
• Perimenopause, Menopause & Midlife Transitions • Anxiety, Overwhelm & Burnout • Childhood Trauma & Inner Child Healing • Difficult or Toxic Relationships • Highly Sensitive People • Boundaries & Putting Your Needs Into Practice

Meet Miranda
Hi, I’m Miranda, a therapist supporting adults and couples through fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.
You may be carrying worry that’s hard to switch off, grieving an experience others don’t fully understand, or wondering when you’ll feel like yourself again. Perhaps you and your partner are exhausted, having the same arguments, and missing the connection you once had.
You deserve space for your experience, your relationship, and your needs.
How We Can Work Together
Our work can help you make room for grief and uncertainty, find manageable ways to cope with anxiety, and reconnect with yourself as your life changes. We’ll focus on what would make a meaningful difference in your day: asking for support, feeling more confident in your choices, or making room for your needs alongside caring for others.
For couples, being on the same team might mean asking for help without an argument, feeling heard when you’re overwhelmed, or finding moments of connection amid daily responsibilities. Drawing on my training in the Gottman Couples Therapy Method, I help partners understand recurring conflict, communicate their needs, and practice repairing after difficult moments.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and attentive to both mind and body. Together, we’ll choose practical steps that fit your circumstances and check in about what’s helping.
Areas of Focus
• Pregnancy & Postpartum Mental Health • Fertility Challenges & Family Planning • Reproductive Grief & Loss • Transition to Parenthood & Identity Changes • Anxiety & Trauma • Couples Communication, Conflict & Connection
Outside the Therapy Room
I value continued learning and practices that support connection between mind and body. I’m especially interested in helping the work of therapy translate into everyday life, in how you care for yourself, ask for what you need, and connect with those closest to you.
Schedule a consultation to share what you’re navigating and explore whether we’re a good fit.

Meet Ashley
Hi, I’m Ashley (she/her), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Founder, and Clinical Director of Hidden Trails Therapy.
You may be capable, dependable, and used to holding everything together while feeling exhausted, anxious, or constantly on alert inside. Perhaps past experiences still shape your relationships, you struggle to trust your needs, or caring for others has left little room for yourself.
You deserve support that makes room for both what you’ve experienced and how you want to live now.
How We Can Work Together
Our work can focus on changes you can recognize in everyday life: setting boundaries with less guilt, responding to stress with more steadiness, and feeling more present in your relationships.
As an EMDR-certified therapist, I help adults address distress connected to traumatic experiences and longstanding patterns. EMDR intensives offer extended sessions for those seeking concentrated time for this work.
When stress feels physical or talking alone hasn’t felt sufficient, we can explore somatic approaches, TRE®, and Neurogenic Yoga™. These offer guided ways to work with body awareness, movement, and tremoring, with attention to your comfort and pacing.
I also offer the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a structured listening program that can complement therapy focused on regulation and connection. Together, we’ll consider whether it fits your needs and how to integrate it into your care.
For clients exploring Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), I provide preparation, therapeutic support, and integration in coordination with a prescribing medical provider. I also offer psychedelic preparation and integration to help you reflect on intentions, make sense of experiences, and translate insights into everyday choices.
Attachment-focused and IFS-informed work can help us understand protective patterns and the needs beneath them. You don’t need to know which approach to choose before starting. We’ll discuss your options, personalize your care, and check in about what’s helping.
Areas of Focus
• Trauma & PTSD • Anxiety & Chronic Stress • Burnout & Compassion Fatigue • Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents • Difficult Family Dynamics & Boundaries • Women’s Mental Health, Pregnancy & Postpartum • First Responders & Healthcare Professionals • EMDR Therapy & Intensives • Somatic Therapy, TRE® & Neurogenic Yoga™ • Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) • Psychedelic Preparation & Integration
Working With Ashley
I offer individual therapy, EMDR intensives, and specialty services, with availability varying by offering. As Clinical Director, I also help connect prospective clients with the Hidden Trails therapist whose expertise, approach, and availability fit their needs.
